Join us for the presentation of research findings for the Midwest Clean Energy candidate education project at 1:30 p.m. CENTRAL, Friday, January 27. In December and January, our bipartisan research team of FM3 (Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Metz) (D) and Public Opinion Strategies (R) conducted focus groups in three RE-AMP states: Ohio, Minnesota & Wisconsin, and fielded a public opinion poll of 1,600 voters in those three states, plus Michigan. Research analysts Dave Metz, FM3, and Lori Weigel, POS, will lead the research results presentation. Topics cover a wide array of energy issues relevant to all RE-AMP members and range from best messengers to best candidate energy positions, as well as voter approval of governors and state legislatures. Results are fascinating – you won’t want to miss this one! Steve Morse, Executive Director of Minnesota Environmental Partnership, will introduce the research presentation and talk about next steps for the candidate education effort.
