Are you working on applying for a Community Change Grant?  RE-AMP is pleased to partner with the Environmental Protection Network to offer a technical assistance session on Feb 22 at 3 CT/4 ET (register here). Whatever stage you are at in the application or planning, bring your questions! We will have two experts to assist you.

Mark Hague is the former EPA Regional Administrator and Deputy Regional Administrator in Region 7 (Kansas City). He was at the agency from 1980-2017, holding multiple other positions, including Deputy Regional Administrator (2011-2015);  Acting Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer from September (2014); and Director of the EPA Region Enforcement Coordination Office, Acting Assistant Regional Administrator for Policy and Management, Chief of the Program Operations and Integration Branch responsible for planning, State and Tribal Relations.  He was also a member of the joint State/ EPA Enterprise for the Environment Governance Committee from 2014 through 2017.

Rudy works for the Environmental Protection Network as a Community Outreach Associate on the pro bono technical assistance team. Rudy works most closely with communities in EPA Regions 8 and 10 (Mountains & Plains and Pacific Northwest) and has recently been supporting much of EPN’s technical assistance work around the EPA’s Community Change Grants Program. For more information on Rudy, please see their bio on our EPN Community Outreach Associates web page.

When: Feb. 22 at 3 CT/4 ET (register here)

Who: Midwesterners working a Community Change Grant application

Please feel free to invite any of your collaborators from outside the RE-AMP Network as well.  The goal of this session is to work with our members and other aligned partners to ensure as many Midwestern communities as possible can submit successful applications in furtherance of our north star goal to equitably eliminate greenhouse gas emissions in the Midwest.

When you register, it would be helpful if you indicate what questions you have.
