    Ecolibrium3 is looking for a new Director of Community Food Access to work in our J40 Lincoln Park neighborhood (Duluth, MN). Here is the position description.

    Director of Community Food Systems
    The Ecolibrium3 Director of Community Food Systems will help advance Ecolibrium3’s mission of building a sustainable and equitable community by reducing community health disparities through the advancement of multiple food access programs and projects including the Eco3 Urban Farm, small footprint grocery store, and commercial kitchen/food gathering space. The role will build community understanding of food access issues and solutions while enhancing connectedness amongst community members.

    Apply knowledge, experience, and passion to advancing impactful community initiatives. Creatively develop programs, projects, and systems that successfully meet position goals while providing appropriate life balance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Manage and successfully perform USDA, HFFI, and other food access grants.
    Grant writing, fund development, enterprise development, and financial management, to ensure program sustainability.
    Research and data collection/analysis as appropriate.
    VISTA and volunteer supervision.
    Strategic and business planning.
    Community outreach and education.
    Expand partnerships to accomplish program goals.
    Coordinate communication strategies.
    Ensure safe operations of facilities and compliance with all applicable regulations.
    Participate in overall organizational development.
    Other duties as assigned.

    SALARY AND BENEFITS:

    The salary range for this position is $55,000-65,000, depending on experience.

    At this time Ecolibrium3 does not offer a health care plan. Instead, employee compensation is set to accommodate employees purchasing their own plans. Eligibility for company retirement benefits will occur after three months of employment.

    As a place-based community organization, our work is in person. Accordingly, this is a full-time (40 hours per week), in-person position. We offer 10 employee-directed remote working days a year.
