We seek proposals that focus on work within a state to make progress on one or more of the Network’s strategic priorities . Grants will cover activities from Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30th, 2026. The maximum grant award is $55,000.

- What is the work you propose to do over the next year? Please include a timeline of activities.
- How does the proposed work relate, if at all, to RE-AMP’s strategic priorities of agriculture, energy, and/or transportation (see below for details)?
- A budget, including organizations to whom any money is regranted
- List of members of the collaboration, including names, organizational affiliations, and contact information

Criteria #2. Build the potential to drive state-level impact on RE-AMP’s Strategic Priorities of agriculture, energy, and/or transportation: How well does the proposal demonstrate a strategic approach to drive short- and long-term impact within a state?
Criteria #3. Acting in Community with the RE-AMP Network: Are at least 50 percent of collaborators RE-AMP members? How well does the proposal stem from previous or ongoing RE-AMP activities such as Issue Hubs (transportation, energy, agriculture), previous Action Teams or State Collaborations, the Annual Meeting, or other Network conversations)?

RE-AMP’s Priorities
Agriculture
Cultivating food systems that nourish land, reduce emissions, and improve livelihoods while resisting consolidated control by industrial farms. areas of focus include:
- Advance climate friendly national agriculture policy: Build a base of support in the Midwest for national policy that reduces emissions, improves land health, and increases equity and justice for producers
- Elevate models of regenerative agriculture: Build a base of evidence at the local and state levels for practices that reduce GHG emissions and increase soil and water health.
- Strengthen local economies for greater food security: Build pathways and reduce barriers for local markets, land access, and supply chain infrastructure.
Energy
Supporting the production and consumption of energy that is clean, affordable, and efficient. Our members will be setting focus areas in 2025. Work in this category could include projects that reduce energy demand (efficiency and conservation; halting growth of data centers), address fossil fuel infrastructure (gas plants, pipelines) or improve community resilience (resiliency hubs, distributed generation).
Or shifts the energy system to increase clean energy, reduce demand for fossil fuels, and decrease energy burden.
Transportation
Enabling people to get where they need to go without having to drive and making motorized transportation cleaner. Main areas of focus are:
- Leveraging local climate plans to ensure transportation planning promotes safe, affirming mobility for all—including decriminalization, accessibility and affordability.
- Leveraging local and regional funding for transit, active transportation, and other tools to enable people to get where they need to go without having to drive.
- Maximizing on lasting land use opportunities that pivot decision makers towards connecting community members to each other, and to civic decisions.
