Integrated Voter Engagement 2024
We are advocates, strategists, and organizers who are working to ensure people have access to and participate in democratic processes. Why? Because we cannot reach our north start goal if voices are stifled and votes are not counted. Environmental justice, clean energy, and broader movements have an untapped opportunity to build people power to achieve change through our democratic processes. This group is meant for non-partisan, c3 friendly voter engagement collaboration including resource sharing, strategy setting, action coordination, and peer support through 2024 Election Day and beyond.
Focus Areas for 2024 include:
1. Expanding leadership and engagement in BIPOC communities
2. Building capacity for grassroots influence on public officials
3. Voter registration and mobilization - 6

1. Developing best practices for member-owner organizing and board election campaigns
2. Demystifying and challenging all-requirement contract structures to unlock distributed generation capacity and improve democratic authenticity
3. Increasing coop transparency through grassroots organizing and/or legislative campaigns
4. Ensuring maximum utility participation in IRA programs and authentic community engagement during implementation - 59
