The Mackinac Bridge Authority says it will power down computers at night and on weekends; decorative lights will turn off at 1 a.m.; and wattage will be reduced at the toll plaza. Wal-Mart announced that it will help 19 states and Puerto Rico to green their capitols. This includes Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota.
