Wal-Mart Greens State Capitols

Wal-Mart announced that it will help 19 states and Puerto Rico to green their capitols. This includes Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota. Wal-Mart will hire engineers to perform energy audits that will provide recommendations to save energy, lower electricity costs and reduce pollution. Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, North Dakota Governor John Hoeven and Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty met in Kansas to make the announcement. Kansas and North Dakota will not participate in the energy audit as their governors say their states already have similar audits. Read the full AP story here.
