GM and Cellulosic Ethanol

General Motors linked up with Illinois’ renewable energy company Coskata Inc. in January to produce cellulosic ethanol. Now, with similar intentions, GM is pairing up with Massachusetts-based Mascoma Corp. The two groups will develop ethanol from wood chips, paper sludge and switch grass.  ...read more »

Top 25 Green Cities

Country Home Magazine recently listed the nation's top 25 green cities. The list comprises- almost exclusively- cities from the upper Midwest and West Coast. Wisconsin Global Warming Task Force Public Hearings

For the last year, Wisconsin's governor-appointed Global Warming Task Force has been developing recommendations to reduce the state's global warming pollution. They have made initial recommendations but are now seeking public comment throughout the state.
